Measuring Local Search Relevance for YP.com

By Ari Klein

We're proud to work with YP, the provider of yp.com. YP is known for useful local data at your fingertips. They need accurate data on how relevant their search results are to users: can people easily find what they're looking for?

These search quality evaluations are used to achieve a high quality online user experience, to understand the effects of search algorithm tweaks, and to perform frequent competitive analysis.

Our new white paper goes into detail on our process for measuring the relevance of search results with the crowd — including findings from a comparative search quality analysis between Google Maps, Bing Local, Yahoo! Local, and YP.com.
