Robin is the Chief Executive Officer at CrowdFlower and has spent the past two decades helping high growth companies launch and scale platforms and products into rapidly transforming markets.
Prior to CrowdFlower, Robin was the Vice President & General Manager, Strategic Consumer Industries at Marketo where he launched and led the business unit selling to consumer digital marketing teams. Robin has also held leadership roles at Jive Software, Worksimple, Yahoo, Excite@Home & Micromuse.
Robin holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from Cambridge University and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from Stanford University. Outside of work Robin spends his time trying to keep up with his two young children and enjoying all that the Bay Area has to offer.
Robert Munro is an expert in combining Human and Machine Intelligence, working with Machine Learning approaches to Text, Speech, Image and Video Processing. Robert has founded several AI companies, building some of the top teams in Artificial Intelligence. He has worked in many diverse environments, from Sierra Leone, Haiti and the Amazon, to London, Sydney and Silicon Valley, in organizations ranging from startups to the United Nations. He most recently ran Product for AWS’s first Natural Language Processing services in the Deep Learning team at Amazon AI.
Robert has published more than 50 papers and is a regular speaker about technology in an increasingly connected world. He has a PhD from Stanford University.
A consummate storyteller and former filmmaker, Randi is passionate about the left brain/right brain marriage that is tech marketing. With over 25 years’ experience taking companies from scrappy start-up to scale, Randi has helped pioneer and position widespread adoption of application instrumentation, application governance, APIs, and commerce search. She is the co-founder of SAP spin-off TeaLeaf (acquired by IBM) and has built and scaled marketing teams at Mashery (acquired by Intel), xMatters and Mercado (acquired by Omniture).
Randi has an undergraduate degree in Asian Studies and Filmmaking from Dartmouth College and a joint International MBA from the Kellogg Graduate school of Management (Northwestern) and The Recanati School of Business (Tel Aviv University).
Cameron has over 20 years experience architecting & developing quality software systems. Most recently, he has become a passionate (some would say annoyingly so) proponent of data driven decision making and the big data technology ecosystem. Prior to CrowdFlower, Cameron led the engineering team for Hearst Publishing’s data management platform and before that was VP Engineering at Tynt Multimedia prior to its acquisition by 33Across. When not at work Cameron fritters away small fortunes on expensive hobbies such as golf, scuba diving, flying, sailing, marriage and dog ownership.
Prior to joining CrowdFlower, Jack spent more than five years managing consumer-driven products at OpenTable, where he oversaw a host of efforts including data analytics, mobile development, and user-generated content as well as integration of e-commerce, subscription, and partnership products. An occasional advisor to San Francisco startups on building and scaling product development functions, he was previously a strategy consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton where he specialized in market entry and organizational design. He received his MBA from Columbia University and a Bachelors in Science from Georgetown University, and enjoyed stints at InterActiveCorp and Microsoft managing content-oriented products in between. In his spare time, Jack enjoys hunting for obscure wines and tending to a sustainably-grown reef aquarium.
Romeo brings over 13 years of experience in customer-facing leadership roles. Prior to joining CrowdFlower, Romeo developed world-class success and services teams at top SaaS players including GoodData and WebDAM, a Shutterstock company. Most recently as Head of Customer Success at WebDAM, Romeo built and was overall responsible for all aspects of the post-sales customer experience including onboarding, technical services, customer retention and technical support.
He earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Economy and a minor in Business Administration from the University of California, Berkeley. Last but not least, Romeo has been known to have an affinity for dapper wardrobe and trimmings including high quality denim, sport coats, colorful socks and pocket squares.
For the past decade, Ryan has served as an executive leading revenue growth and business operations with multiple successful exits.
As an early team member of semantic search engine Powerset, Ryan managed business operations and company growth until its sale to Microsoft for $100M. Ryan then co-founded social gaming company Serious Business, where he lead the company as COO through rapid revenue growth and a successful acquisition by Zynga.
Most recently, Ryan was responsible for Sales & Marketing at Vidcaster, the enterprise video platform for companies like GoPro and HP, where he served as CRO through its merger with Vidlet.
Ryan also advises startups on their operational and revenue growth. Current and past companies include: ValiMail, Hey.co, 1 Block Off the Grid (now NRG), Sift Science and even a previous stint with CrowdFlower.
As VP of Business Development and part of the Executive Team, Dale leads the strategy and programmatic execution with CrowdFlower’s partners. Dale’s career in the technology sector spans decades, centered in Business Development and Enterprise Sales leadership roles. His past successes have two themes: driving business outcomes for partners and customers; and achieving results in emerging trends, markets and technologies.
Most previously, Dale was the Vice President of Business Development for Bitnami, a global leader in application packaging and a major contributor to Kubernetes-related projects. Dale also advises start-ups in the areas of strategy and leadership.
As VP of Finance and Administration and part of Executive team, Preethi leads CrowdFlower in the strategic and financial oversight of the company. Preethi brings over 15 years of financial and accounting leadership experience. She began her accounting career with Deloitte India. Prior to joining CrowdFlower, she held progressive leadership positions at Jigsaw and Financial Engines. During her tenure at Jigsaw, she was a big part of financial due-diligence team during acquisition by SalesForce.
Preethi holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from India and is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) from the State of California. She is also a member of The Institute of Cost Accountants of India.
Lukas co-founded CrowdFlower. He has worked as a Senior Scientist and Manager within the Ranking and Management Team at Powerset, Inc., a natural language search technology company later acquired by Microsoft, and also led the Search Relevance Team for Yahoo! Japan. He graduated from Stanford University with a BS in Mathematics and an MS in Computer Science. Lukas is also an expert-level Go player.
Chris co-founded CrowdFlower. He was previously a technical product manager at Powerset, Inc., a natural language search technology company later acquired by Microsoft. Chris has worked as a studio artist, computer scientist, and web engineer, and pours his diverse background into his role as Chief Technology Officer. He combines deep design insight with crisp, minimalist coding abilities that enables him to produce anything — soup-to-nuts applications — sometimes within minutes. Chris studied both art and computer science at Hope College.
